About the event
Many of us struggle with an inner critic that fuels perfectionism, self-doubt, or the feeling that we're never "good enough." This monthly, trauma-informed group offers a supportive space to explore these patterns through guided mindfulness practices, reflection, and discussion.
Drawing from mindfulness-based approaches, participants will learn practical skills to relate to themselves with greater awareness, compassion, and resilience. Led by a licensed clinical psychologist, this is an educational mindfulness group designed to support well-being and personal growth—not group therapy.

Meet Dr. Marlena McEachron, a licensed clinical psychologist and founder of Northstar Center in Leesburg, Virginia. She has spent over fifteen years helping children, adolescents and adults heal from trauma, anxiety, and depression and brings nearly two decades of mindfulness practice, including facilitating mindfulness workshops, therapy groups, retreats, and participating in multiple multi-day silent meditation retreats.
