What We’re Building Together

It’s hard to believe it’s been over a year since Wellness Loudoun was first introduced to the community. From those early days—developing our identity, building the website, launching our first DBSA support group, and bringing the vision for Bridging the Gap to life—we’ve grown steadily and thoughtfully over the past 14 months. I couldn’t be more grateful for the way this community has embraced what we’re building.

Our mission is simple but deeply meaningful: to save lives and restore hope by providing a safe, welcoming space for mental, physical, and emotional well-being. We live that out through the classes, programs, and support groups we offer each month—all rooted in the belief that no one should have to struggle alone. What’s been most special to witness is the sense of connection forming week after week—people showing up, finding support, and building real friendships.

If you’ve been watching from the sidelines, wondering what it might be like to get involved, I want to gently encourage you to take that first step. Take a look at our calendar and choose something that speaks to you. Whether it’s mindfulness meditation, therapeutic art, yoga, sound baths, financial or nutrition classes, community acupuncture, our Healing Hearts grief walk, pickleball, or something else—there truly is something for everyone.

We’re also expanding our offerings this month with a 6-week clinician-led Complex PTSD support group with Pamela Powers, along with a 6-week Wellness Circle group coaching experience on Zoom. These additions reflect our continued commitment to meeting people where they are and providing meaningful, accessible support.

I hope you’ll consider joining us. I’ve had the privilege of meeting so many kind, encouraging, and genuine people through this work. I would truly love for you to experience that sense of community too.
